Vitamin C (Acidum ascorbinicum)

Each ampoule contains:

Acidum ascorbinicum (Vitamin C) 5% – 100,0 mg / 2,0 ml.

Ascorbic acid (Acidum ascorbinicum) injection is a sterile, nonpyrogenic solution of sodium ascorbate prepared from ascorbic acid with the aid of sodium bicarbonate in water for injection.

Ascorbic acid (L-ascorbic acid) is one form (“vitamer”) of vitamin C (an essential nutrient for humans).

Acidum ascorbinicum is used to treat and prevent vitamin C deficiency.

Vitamin C is important for bones and connective tissues, muscles, and blood vessels.

Vitamin C also helps the body absorb iron, which is needed for red blood cell production.

Vitamin C is involved in tyrosine & folic acid metabolism, carbohydrate metabolism, synthesis of lipids and proteins, resistance to infections, and cellular respiration.
